Royal LePage Team Realty 2019 Kick Off Event with Phil Soper and Richard Robbins

On January 17th, Royal LePage Team Realty came together for our annual Kick Off Event. It is a chance for Team Realty Realtors, Managers, and Administrators to come together, network, and be motivated for the year ahead. It was a packed house at the Nepean Sportsplex and we were honoured to have Phil Soper, President and CEO of Royal LePage, and Richard Robbins on hand to give presentations. The event was also live-streamed to thousands of Royal LePage agents across the country.

Kent Browne, Owner and Broker of Record, started the day off with a look at the Ottawa real estate industry and some exciting announcements about what Royal LePage Team Realty will be launching in 2019. With a focus on supporting agents, Team Realty offers amazing training and support services that are unmatched in the industry.

Phil Soper provided the audience with a sort of State of Union address on the current Canadian Real Estate Market and the exciting new things that Royal LePage have to offer for 2019. “Contemporary businesses need something more than making a buck to make them work” and Phil started by acknowledging the amazing work done nationwide for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Royal LePage is Canada’s largest, oldest, and fastest growing real estate firm and for this reason, they are able to provide innovative marketing, cutting edge technology, lead generation, and much more to make your life easier.

Renowned coach and trainer, Richard Robbins, focused on change. Technology is changing the real estate business at a rapid pace and it is important to adapt. With access to information, consumers are more empowered than ever and it is important to bring value to the table. Richard looked at case studies to show different strategies adopted by different agents with a focus on finding what works for you. Whether it’s video, referrals, events, or open houses, there are amazing ways to be innovative and grow your business. The key takeaway was that your business should enrich your life, not drain it.
